Fall Bridal Portraits - Lauren Steyne

First, I just have to say that I’m so glad we rescheduled these bridal portraits. Lauren and I were supposed to shoot on a day where it was calling for rain all day, so we had to reschedule. Man, am I so thankful that we did because the lighting on this day was on point. Photographing Lauren’s bridal portraits is something I’ve been looking forward to for a while. she’s a beautiful bride, and these portraits turned out stunning.

Lauren’s favorite season is fall, so right after she got engaged, we knew these would have to be fall portraits. Kudos to Lauren for trusting me with waiting until November to take these; the fall foliage was worth it.

This is one of my favorite photos from the entire session because it captures the essence of Lauren. The way she was fixing her veil exemplifies how meticulous and detailed she is. She has an eye for making sure things are done well and in the correct manner. It’s one of my favorite things about her, and it’s part of the reason I love working with her!

Believe or not, Lauren decided to do her own makeup for her bridals and on her wedding day! She’s one brave soul. Like I mentioned before, she’s particular + she loves makeup, so of course she had to do her own. Bravo, Lauren, it looks amazing!

Yes, the veil. If you’ve been following along with Tori Steyne Photography for a while, you know that I’m a sucker for veils. You better believe I was excited when Lauren tried on a long veil the day she got her dress. It went perfectly.

Gosh, Mrs. Sheila is the best! She stood beside us the entire time while we were shooting, beaming with pride and enjoying the moment. She may or may not have had sunglasses on to hide her tears.

I loved spending this afternoon with Lauren and her mom. It’s been such an honor to be the photographer that got to capture Lauren and Joey’s proposal, engagements, Lauren’s bridal portraits, and the wedding! These are photos are ones that I’ll forever hold dear to my heart.
