Mid-Carolina Senior - Katie Bedenbaugh
The 2020 class is the first class of students that Cole and I have gotten to work with for their entire high school career. I’m pretty sure that I’ve known Katie since she was a freshman, which is wild to me! Katie was one of our campaigner kids, and now she’s all moved into her college apartment *cue the tears*.
To start her session, we met at her high school, Mid-Carolina, and took some photos outside of the front doors. Every senior is ready to leave their school behind, but it’s such a formative place and holds so many memories.
2020 - Class of the Quarantine
Once we finished up at the high school, we headed to Katie’s family land. Shooting on this property was so special for her. This field is where she spent many days as a kid.

Getting to photograph Katie was such an honor. I love this girl to pieces, and I loved getting to spend time with her on her family’s land! When we were walking around, she told me the stories of her jumping off of the barn rafters as a kid, running around in the grassy fields, and even how she got her goat. Stories like her’s are my favorite.
Katie B., i love you, and I am super proud of you! I Can’t wait to see where the Lord takes you in this next season.
