Columbia Engagement Session - Moose Morris & Kourtney Smith
Story time! As most of y’all know, in addition to my photo business, I’m the Marketing/HR Director for a local Chick-fil-A. I love to show my appreciation to my fellow employees and will sometimes trade food items with another local restaurants so that my employees don’t have to eat CFA all of the time. There’s this one particular restaurant that my CFA employees love, so I would coordinate with their Marketing Director and we would trade items pretty frequently. Well fast forward to last fall, I get an inquiry from a bride, Kourtney, who is looking for a photographer. We go back and forth and she and her fiancé end up booking with me. We plan to get dinner at a restaurant and to talk about some wedding details. As I’m walking up to the table to meet them, I see the marketing director from said restaurant that I’ve worked with for years! I didn’t even need to get her phone number from her because I already had it! And to top it off, her fiancé, Moose, played sports with my husband, Cole, when they were kids. What a small world!
We actually had to reschedule their engagement session a time or two because of rain, but when we finally got to shoot, it was amazing! We even got to take some pics with their sweet pups, which of course are my favorite.

As you can tell from the pictures, Moose and Kourtney were such a blast to photograph! They’re just fun loving people who love each other. This Saturday is their wedding day, and it cannot get here soon enough!
