Maternity Session - The Hall Family
Story time: Corey and I are co-workers at Chick-fil-A. We see each other multiple times a week and are pretty good friends. Abby reaches out to me, asking if I could do a little session of her and Corey. They hadn’t had professional photos taken since their wedding and wanted some updated ones. Originally we were set to go to Folly Beach but ended up at the lake because of the potential rain on the coast. We meet up, and Corey’s wearing a hat and asks me if he should wear the one that he has on or this other one. He puts on the other hat and it says, “dad”. I was stunned! I had no idea that Abby was pregnant and that we were actually doing a maternity announcement and not just a couple session. No lie, I had tears in my eyes. Corey and Abby are some of my favorite people, and they are going to be the best parents!
Of course they had to bring sweet Belle along.

Since their session last fall, a lot has changed for them. Corey is now in the Leadership Development Program with Chick-fil-A. He was in Colorado, but he’s now at a store on the Carolina coast, and Abby is working remotely from a hotel there. Abby is due in less than a month, and I’m so excited for them! Life is a wild ride, and it might be a little extra wild for them, but they are 2 of the strongest people I know. They’re going to be amazing parents who will show their little girl what it looks like to love each other unconditionally.
