Jamie & Emily's Engagement Session in Charleston SC
If you ever ask me to take photos in Charleston, I will ALWAYS say yes. I can’t put my finger on it, but there’s just something magical about Charleston.
On a warm Sunday, the three of us hopped in the car and made our way down to Charleston. As a photographer, I always want my clients and I to walk away from a session and be friends, and when I got home that evening, I felt like I had just spent the day with good friends.
Two things I learned about Jamie during our session is that one, he is genuine, and two, he cares deeply for Emily. Emily has a chronic illness and Jamie is so patient, gentle, and understanding. He’s her biggest supporter.
After we finished up their session, we stopped in a bar on the way home and watched the starting of the championship game for the Lady Gamecocks basketball, and Jamie and I cheered the whole drive home. The Gamecocks winning the National Championship + an engagement session in Charleston = the perfect day.
