Sunflower Minis 2022
This summer has been a whirlwind, and I’m still a little confused on how it’s already the first week of school for us here in Newberry. This summer I photographed a wedding, lifestyle and family portraits, and even headshots, but one of the highlights of my summer was photographing sunflower minis!
Planning minis that are dependent on nature can be stressful. When it comes to minis like these (or even peach trees and cotton fields), you have a tentative date in mind, but then it doesn’t rain for a few weeks, so you think the flowers won’t be ready until later. Then all of a sudden it rains every day, and the flowers surprise you and bloom a week earlier than anticipated. I’m fairly type A, so you can imagine my stress level, but all that stress was all 100% worth it.
