Newberry Family Session - The Johnson Family

If you’ve been following me and my work for awhile, this land will look familiar. The Farm is one of my favorite places to shoot; I affectionately call it, “God’s land.” Well, the Johnsons are the ones who own this gorgeous property. The farmhouse is now vacant, but the land is still well-taken care of and visited daily.

Part of the Johnson clan lives in Tennessee, but they were all together for Thanksgiving this past year and had me come capture these sweet moments for them.

I even got the puppy to look for this one, success!!!

Once we got done with all of the “classic” family photos, I let the kids be kids and photographed them jumping on the hay bails, playing around, and just being themselves. I especially love these photographs because those little moments with their cousins are the ones that they’ll remember when they’re older.

Johnson family, I’ll never be able to say thank you enough for allowing me to photograph on your land. I’m so thankful that Cole and I moved to Newberry and that we’ve gotten to become friends!
